The MINI John Cooper Works Challenge provides superior driver feedback and the typical MINI go-kart feeling, with its adjustable suspension, conceptualised specifically for motorsport, playing a crucial role in the process. Ground clearance, damper bounce and rebound rates, and responsiveness are all adjustable according to the demands of different circuits.

Transmission of power to the front wheels is via a six-speed transmission. The MINI John Cooper Works Challenge runs on 17 inch MINI Challenge Design aluminium alloy wheels fitted with bespoke racing tyres. Its weight is 1,100 kilograms (without driver).
