World Cup winner: Khalifa Al Mutaiwei.

Successful comeback: Khalifa Al Mutaiwei wins the World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies in a MINI ALL4 Racing. Take a look at the best photos of the year.

Khalifa Al Mutaiwei has won the World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies in a MINI ALL4 Racing for the X-raid team. Khalifa already had an unbeatable lead in the overall standings of the World Cup after winning the Pharaons Rally in Egypt in October, which was the seventh of eight races in the season.

Winning the 2012 title isn’t the first World Cup victory for Khalifa and X-raid, as both he and the team jointly won the 2004 Cross-Country World Cup too. After a hiatus, Khalifa once again joined forces with X-raid for the 2012 World Cup, this time racing in a MINI ALL4 Racing. The result was success once again.
