Motorsport has always been embedded in the MINI brand's genes. The MINI Motorsport family is large and spans the whole world. The MINI brand is active on the motorsport scene in every continent. Whether in rallies, clubsport events or long-distance races at circuits around the world, countless private teams compete passionately and with 100 percent commitment in a wide range of racing series.
They may not always be in the spotlights on the international motorsport stage – sometimes only local MINI fans know the drivers and teams – but these private MINI projects never lack passion and often produce remarkable success.
As well as the MINI Challenge series in Brazil and Argentina, privately organised clubsport series now also line up in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Great Britain, in the form of the MINI Trophy, MINI RUSHOUR, MINI Challenge Switzerland and MINI Challenge UK. On top of all this, Customer Racing commitments are in full swing at a whole host of international motorsport events, at which MINI is always well represented.
Whether the Rally Dakar, various circuit series, international Targa events, countless national rally championships, or races with the classic Mini Cooper S: wherever they are, MINI cars not only light up the starting field, but also win the hearts of the fans with their mighty performances. On a global scale, that is.
Regardless of which circuit, championship or continent the teams are appearing in, one thing is clear: the global MINI Motorsport family is large, successful, and growing every day. MINI Motorsport is already looking forward to new private MINI projects around the world and wishes all its drivers and teams every success under the motto: Be MINI.
