MINI CHALLENGE.

MINI CHALLENGE.

MINI sets the pace when it comes to entertainment at the racetrack. For years, the term “MINI Challenge” has been synonymous in countless countries around the world with first-class motorsport, coupled uniquely with the go-kart feeling so typical of MINI, as well as MINI lifestyle at its best. Action is guaranteed out on the racetrack and in the paddock. That is what makes MINI Challenge race weekends such a special meeting place for spectators, drivers, teams, VIPs and celebrities. MINI fans can get closer to the teams and drivers in the paddock, thus allowing them to experience that true racing feeling at first hand.

When the MINI John Cooper Works Challenge rolls out of the pit lane and onto the track, you can feel the anticipation rise around the circuit. This MINI is specially equipped for use in motor racing. In order to guarantee that all the competitors have the same opportunity, the MINI John Cooper Works Challenge is assembled centrally by MINI, in order to rule out any forbidden modifications. The identical technical prerequisites, with which all the teams and drivers are faced, make for thrilling door-to-door duels in the MINI Challenge races. The same applies to all drivers and teams: no advantage, no disadvantage, no excuses.

Since it was launched in Germany in 2004, the clubsport series has successfully expanded on an international scale. MINI clubsport series are currently held in Argentina, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and the UK. Week after week, MINI fans are treated to exciting race action. As well as the MINI John Cooper Works Challenge, the races are sometimes also graced by the MINI Cooper S, which is also modified for racing purposes. However, whether a MINI John Cooper Works Challenge or a specific racing version of the MINI Cooper S, the MINI clubsport series around the world allow the brand to guarantee its fans performance, individuality, and an abundance of go-kart feeling – just as John Cooper intended.

It is always worth experiencing the races at MINI Challenge events live. You can find more information on the individual series, drivers and cars under our MINI Stars section.
